|
| How do you like to spend your time when you're not working with SMFPI? In my spare time, I collect and resell vintage textiles and conserve, restore and sell antique books. I enjoy growing my Faith and spending time with my family and friends. Where do you work? RIT, supporting the Dean of the Golisano College of Computer and Information Sciences. What inspired you to join the board of SMFPI? Deacon Mike Kristan invited me to help plan an Anti-Trafficking Conference and afterwards, to join the board. |
|
How long have you been involved with SMFPI? Since May 2024. What are the biggest challenges facing families in Rochester, and how is SMFPI addressing them? The biggest problem facing Rochester families is poverty and the splintering of the two parent family. SMFPI is addressing this issue through its work supporting, specifically men, in the development of virtue and their faith lives and combating addiction.
We are grateful for her leadership, passion, and dedication to SMFPI. Stay tuned for more Board Member Highlights in upcoming newsletters! |

| Special Message from Lois: "I am deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed—and continues to contribute—toward my hospital bill. It is truly heartwarming to see people go the extra mile to help. There is no greater comfort than that.
A special thank you to SMPFI, not only for their support but also for giving me the opportunity to express my gratitude." |

Lois Azessie recently underwent surgery to remove kidney stones, a procedure that finally brought him relief after years of suffering. While his insurance covered 80% of the cost, he is left with a $4,000 medical bill. Lois still needs our help! Let’s come together as a community to support someone who has given so much to others. Please donate and share this fundraiser to help Lois reach his goal. |
